Increase Website Traffic

My website doesn’t get enough traffic. That is a complaint which has been echoing around the internet since websites began. Webmasters discuss the topic in forums and on blogs and everyone has an opinion. You could spend the rest of your life reading all the information that is out there about how to get more people to visit your site.

How To Take A Vocation Vacation

Travel And Career Development All In One Package

Saw this in the travel section and thought it was really a neat idea. Vocation Vacations was started by Brian Kurth, a former business executive from Oregon. He started his company in 2004 and his organization connects curious people with mentors who have the jobs they have only thought about pursuing. Vacationers pay a fee ranging from $545.00 to $2,000 (airfare and lodging not included), though most are less than $1.200.

Smart Phone Reviews

Are you considering buying a smart phone? We have a business columnist who writes in our local paper and he is really good at explaining technology. Here is what he had to say about buying a smart phone.

Do you really need one? - Smart phones are great for communicating in a variety of ways - email, instant messaging, via social networks, and texting. Most let you take pictures; many capture video. You can access the Web and some let you install more programs on them. So - do you really need all the extra stuff? A standard phone can send text, take pictures, capture video, even work with e-mail. How badly do you need the extra features a smart phone would bring you? My phone does all those things just mentioned and it is not a smart phone.

How to Attract More Clients for Your Service Business

Written by admin on Thursday, October 30th, 2008 in business, small business.

As a business owner, one of your highest priorities — and biggest worries — is how to attract new business.  If you sell products, your task is made easier by the fact that your customers can actually see and touch what they are going to buy, and without too much effort they know how they will benefit from buying your product.

How To Get A Small Business Loan

The Small Business Administration

O.K., getting a business loan may not be instant gratification, but a little work upfront may speed up the process. The Small Business Administration suggests having complete documentation in order.

Common documentation includes: (take a deep breath) purpose of the loan, history of your business, financial statements for three years (existing businesses), schedule of term debts (existing businesses), aging of accounts receivable and payable (existing businesses), projected opening-day balance sheet (new businesses), lease details, amount of investment in the business by the owner(s), projections of income, expenses and cash flow, signed personal financial statements and personal resume(s).

How To Do Dropshipping And Make Money

Written by admin on Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 in business, dropshipping.

Are DropShip Suppliers Scams or Reliable Merchants?

Well, I do have some experience with using dropship suppliers as a method for finding products to sell online (think EBay). I can tell you that when you start searching the internet, many suppliers are really just middle men who charge you a membership fee to access their site. Once inside the site, you will find that the prices are much too high for you to sell competitively on any online auction site.

Many lists of dropshoppers, like those sold for .99 on EBay itself, are worse than useless. They are outdated, and waste time. Even if the information is good, the lists really won’t get you started unless you have taken a few steps to begin your business in a …. well ….businesslike way!
