What do you do with with your beautiful Valentine’s Day flowers, if you received roses you have an opportunity to recycle them into something equally wonderful. Rosewater is a traditional and safe natural cosmetic which can used as a soothing lotion or compress for sore or inflamed skin says Pamela Allerdice in her book Natural Remedies from A - Z. How To Shop Smart For Clothes

Cheap Clothes

You find such a wide range of prices when you are shopping for clothing. It is difficult to know if you are really getting a bargain or the item is just made cheaply. Sometimes you find really cheaply made clothing selling for unreal prices also. I just read a really great article in Woman’s Day magazine about how to tell whether the clothes you are buying are well-made. Here is a summary of what the article said:

Eye the pattern: Look at the fabric to see if the patterns line up at the seams. If the pattern is matched unevenly that tells you the clothing is poorly made.

How To Spend Less Dining Out

Written by admin on Friday, November 21st, 2008 in save money.

Everyone’s looking to save money these days, but it is still fun to go out to eat. There are a few ways you can shave money off your bill.

Enjoy the freebies - Many places will give you bread, chips, or crackers for free. Even if you or your kids fill up on them you can take your meal home and make another meal out it.

Drink water - Don’t order the fancy water or soda and you can save a few dollars per person on the bill. Your children will protest violently but tell them it is better than not eating out at all.
