Max and Ross Dress for Less which offer trendy dresses (under $75.00). Consider having a seamstress make your prom dress if your really want a long one. Sometimes it is cheaper to go this way.

Add Glitter - Don’t spend a bundle on expensive costume jewelry just accessorize by layering necklaces, such as a string of pearls or rhinestones, to make a statement. Check out your local dollar store, I know ours sells all kinds of jewelry.

Rock Out – Don’t wear a faux fur wrap instead wear a leather jacket over your prom dress. Check out resale shops for a reasonably priced jackets or even cheaper borrow a friends.

Go classic – If you buy a red, black or off-white dress you will be more likely to wear it again and you can change the look with different accessories. Peep toe pumps are good for prom and don’t go out of style. Payless Shoes usually has some fancy shoes for not a lot of money.

Add extras – Get a cool clutch handbag at Target (they a big assortment now) and jazz up your A-line dress with a belt or wear a petticoat underneath.
